Fresno Shinzen Garden Society & the Fresno Bonsai Society co-hosted the 2010 Blossom Festival in Woodward Park.  Blooming cherry and crabapple trees, yellow forsythia, kerria (Japanese rose) and miniature daffodils were dressed in their glowing color. The Teahouse (one of the only two authentic teahouses in the United States), was open for viewing, and Docents were available to assist visitors and answer questions pertaining to the Garden. The Bonsai show was held in conjunction with the Spring Blossom Festival. There were over 100 specimens of beautiful and extraordinary Bonsai on display.  Educational Bonsai demonstrations and sales were also available.  To view a few more photos from the Blossom Festival, click here.  You learn more about the Shinzen Gardens including their hours of operation, click here
