Ramos Winery Celebrates One-Year Anniversary
Ramos Winery Celebrates One-Year Anniversary, originally uploaded by Ken and Carol Maul.
Fresno REALTORS, Ken and Carol Maul, were in Kingsburg today to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Ramos Torres Winery. In the photo, Oscar Ramos is shown with the wines for tasting.
A graduate of Fresno State with an Enology degree, Oscar Ramos makes wine at Cedar View Winery as an assistant winemaker to Jim Van Haun.
The tasting today featured Syrahs from 2005, 2006 and 2007, as well as Zinfandels from the same years.
Following the wine tasting, Ken and Carol went next door and enjoyed a fantastic lunch (Chicken Salad and Sirloin Steak Salad) at Hi-Life Steakhouse. Owner and chef, John Pashayan, also treated us to a sampling of a cracked wheat bulgur pilaf.
