Fresno Philharmonic To Feature Cellist Zuill Bailey and a Food Drive This Weekend

Zuill Bailey, originally uploaded by Ken and Carol Maul.

Fresno REALTORS, Ken and Carol Maul, are eagerly awaiting this weekend's Fresno Philharmonic concerts featuring renown cellist Zuill Bailey.   He will be playing Elgar's Cello Concerto.

Also on the program, the Fresno Philharmonic, under the direction of Maestro Theodore Kuchar, will be playing Mozart's Overture to The Abduction from the Seraglio and Tchaikovsky's Orchestral Suite No. 3, Op. 55.

And, in coordination with Catholic Charities, concert goers are asked to bring canned and other non-perishable food items to the concerts. Because of the economic conditions on the west side of Fresno County, all donations will go toward that area.

There is also a great need for baby items such as formula, baby food and diapers. Catholic Charities is also accepting cash donations that will be used to purchase supplies at discounted rates.

The concerts will be Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 2:30 p.m.   The concerts are held at the William Saroyan Theatre in Downtown Fresno.   Information on tickets, the Saroyan Theatre and parking can be obtained at the Fresno Philharmonic.

Ken and Carol Maul encourage everyone to attend this wonderful concert and to help our friends and neighbors who are facing a tough time right now.
