Fresno REALTORS, Ken and Carol Maul, wandered around the renovation project at Fresno City College's Old Administration Building this weekend.
The building, completed in 1916, was the first permanent structure on the Fresno State Normal School campus. Later utilized by Fresno Junior College and by Fresno State. Fresno City College purchased the campus and from 1956 to 1976, the Administration Building was used for classrooms, offices and as an auditorium.
Approximately 70,000 square feet located on 2.3 acres, the building has two outdoor courtyards which encompass 100,000 square feet.
The cost of the renovation is $41 million. Part of these funds came from the passage of Measure E.
The decorative entries and the brick are being restored to the natural state. It is going to be a gorgeous building.
